Kid Cudi – Free

On the Shaker Heights native’s 10th studio album, he leans into a pop sound, giving Free a distinctly unique sound in comparison to the rest of his discography. Singles like “Mr. Miracle” and “Grave” reflect on Cudi’s muddled past since his rise to prominence, while offering a triumphant soundtrack to anyone hoping to emerge from similar struggles.

mgk – Lost Americana 

A turbulent 2024 set the backdrop for Cleveland-based rapper turned rocker mgk’s Lost Americana. Led by the singles “cliche” and “dont wait run fast,” the album addresses topics like his previous stint in rehab, along with the demise of his relationship with actress Megan Fox.

Nine Inch Nails – Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

In recent years, the band’s frontman, Trent Reznor, has broadened his horizons by producing for artists like Halsey and scoring film soundtracks. “As Alive As You Need Me to Be,” the lead single from upcoming album Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), is the first official Nine Inch Nails song since 2021. 

The Black Keys – No Rain, No Flowers 

Following a rough 2024 that saw the cancellation of an arena tour, the Akron blues-rock outfit went back to the drawing board. This resulted in No Rain, No Flowers, which saw the band exchange their signature blues sound for a more upbeat vibe. Singles “Man on a Mission” and “On Repeat” provide listeners with a reminder that the duo still has potential to deliver hit records like those that helped them reach prominence during the 2010s.

Twenty One Pilots – Breach 

Over the course of the past decade, Columbus-based alternative rock band Twenty One Pilots has earned a massive following, thanks in part to the 12 #1 songs on the Alternative Airplay charts. That’s a record shared with another band fronted by an Ohioan: the Foo Fighters. With the release of Breach, they’ll look to add to their accolades, satisfying their hordes of loyal fans along the way.

Rascal Flatts – Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets 

After a hiatus from touring and recording, references to a potential farewell tour, and breakup, Rascal Flatts used the momentum following their performance at the 2025 presidential inauguration to reunite in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary. While the announcement came in the form of informing fans of an anniversary and reunion tour, the band also released a brand-new single with the Jonas Brothers, “I Dare You,” which is a lead single on Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets. This album takes listeners on a journey throughout the band’s catalog with guest features from Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, and more.
