Hoopla’s June Reading Challenge
Let’s kick off the first Hoopla Reading Challenge of the summer with a little twist. Instead of selecting a book based on genre, let’s read books with one unusual aspect in common: each of the authors identifies him or herself with initials. Many classics fall into this category, including the Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine and Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers.
For this challenge, we’ve created a Hoopla collection of some of our favorite reads that fit into our June Reading Challenge of books by Authors with Initial Names. Here are a few highlights, all available for free and with no waiting on Hoopla:

The Librarian of Crooked Lane by C. J. Archer:
Librarian Sylvia Ashe join forces with Gabe, a haunted war hero, to recover a stolen magical painting in this spellbinding fantasy mystery.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab:
In 1714 France, Addie LaRue makes a deal for immortality—cursed to be forgotten by all. Centuries later, everything changes when one man remembers her name.

This Will Be Fun by E. B. Asher:
Ten years after saving the magical realm of Mythria, heroes reunite for a royal wedding—only to face old flames, buried wounds, and a new threat.

Throne In the Dark by A. K Caggiano:
Damien’s evil plans unravel when a bubbly thief magically binds herself to him—challenging his quest and threatening him with the most dangerous thing: feelings.

Murder at the Ponte Vecchio by T. A. Williams:
When a jeweler dies on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio, PI Dan Armstrong and his dog Oscar uncover family secrets, hidden fortunes, and a killer who may be closer than expected.
What do these titles have in common? In addition to all being written by Authors with Initial Names, they are all good summer reads. And they are all available on Hoopla!
Happy Reading!
