How great is that band name? Their album’s pretty great too. This is a fun, kitschy party record from 1962, built around the success of “The Monster Mash,” a song that truly never grows old. This is a perfect soundtrack for Halloween parties, including fun songs like “Monster Motion,” “Bella’s Bash,” and “Transylvania Twist.”  

Monster High the Movie (Original Film Soundtrack) 

This album features nearly a dozen songs from the live-action movie, including “Three of Us” and the main song, “Coming Out of the Dark,” performed by the cast. The soundtrack also includes tracks like “True Monster Heart,” “No Apologies,” and “Trust,” highlighting the film’s themes of acceptance and finding your place.  

Mickey’s Monster Bash 

Close your eyes while this is playing and you might think you’re walking through a Disney park in October (many songs on this album are played in the parks during spooky season). Ideal for a kids’ Halloween party, this collection features not-too-creepy songs sung by Disney characters, like “Grim, Grinning Ghost” and “This Is Halloween.”

Night of the Zoopocalypse
