Pets on a Train is preparing to leave the station. To ramp up anticipation for the wild ride that’s about to ensue, the studio officially released its first trailer for the film. The movie will be in theaters on October 17.

This heartwarming family adventure is shaping up to be one of the most fun releases of 2025, blending comedy, adventure, and plenty of lovable animal antics. What Is Pets on a Train? 

We’ve seen the trailer, so we know this is a laugh-out-loud movie. A group of animal bandits, led by a raccoon named Falcon, ends up trapped on a speeding train with no people on board to help them. There’s an angry badger named Hans who is speeding the train into a crash. Falcon, along with a police dog named Rex, has to stop the train and save the animals on board.
